Protecting Privacy

Gloo is committed to help you leverage data to further your mission. In order for us to be a trusted partner, our job is to stay in tune with industry changes and simultaneously ensure that privacy and security come first in our platform. As we all know, we’re living in an ever-evolving landscape of privacy and compliance changes such as GDPR and HIPAA.

As a result, we’re continuously updating our position along with our data partners around the use of our data so we can all remain in the strongest possible position related to compliance with the highest standards.

This includes restricting or revoking the use of sensitive health data for the specific purpose of digital targeted marketing.

Currently, we are restricting targeted marketing around the following Addiction and Behavioral Health filters:

  • Suffers from Behavioral Health
  • Anxiety (Self-reported)
  • ADHD (Self-reported)
  • Depression (Self-reported)
  • Bipolar (Self-reported)
  • Treatment for ADHD (Self-reported)
  • Treatment for bipolar (Self-reported)
  • Treatment for depression (Self-reported)
  • Alcohol dependence
  • Chronic pain
  • Opioid dependence

This list may update from time to time as we continue to refine the standards for sensitive data in our platform.
